My turn to ask for help now -- I'm using BIAB2012, and just noticed
that when I enter the period for a rest (or 2 for shot or 3 for hold)
the chord turns red instead of black but no dots are showing. And if I
enter a letter to indicate an instrument to keep playing, the same thing
-- the chord is red but there are no dots and there is no letter d to
indicate the drums will keep playing.

I've searched the Preferences dialog and can't see any setting to change
this display "feature."

Anybody else notice this or is my computer haunted? :-)
