There are many uncertainties in cordyceps as its evolution is yet to
understand scientifically and so also the effects of human interference
seen with its soaring price recently. As seen elsewhere and also in the
country, there are many uncertainties with many such natural produces when
over harvested or its ecology is disturbed to make them sources of
livelihood for the higlanders. I agree with you for the need to broaden
the base of livelihood earning which should not only be sustainable but
also lucrative as well. As such, the guided eco-tourism organized by the
highlanders themselves as suggested by you would be more promising.
