Regarding Rimchu logging, The first logging started on 1985-87by logging corporation( recent name I do not know) as my husband G.K Pradhan. You can write to Mr. J.B.Rai.I will try to find his email ID. About the Gedu Permanent plot you can write to Dr. Lungten Norbu ,who is the farther of the forestry Research.

I need some information regarding Rimchu FMU in Punakha.
When was the first logging operation done? Is the FMU still active? Will there be any cable line without plantation? Those cable lines which are planted after logging, were there any treatment done like fencing, weeding etc. if weeding was done was it done to cut everything except the planted seedlings?
