Missouri
Here's the result of the criminal charges brought early this year
against the perpetrators of the illegal glycerol dump in Missouri:

Hobbyists really need to set an example for proper glycerol handling,
storage, and disposal.
This is an area where legislation could make the hobby illegal. At
the Missouri DNR they are talking about creating a reg requiring all
biodiesel producers (yes, this would include hobbyists) to have an
operating permit. If this goes through it will effectively eliminate
the hobby in Missouri.
