Call Windward Petroleum. They should have 55 gallon drums for $3-4/bbl
now. It was 4 last time I bought, but I'd guess the price has come down
since then. Windward runs up and down the East coast, I can't imagine
they don't have delivery to your area.

You can get lye from http://www.aaa-chemicals.com or a variety of places
on ebay. ebay is cheaper, but you may find the lye comes in plastic
bags instead of plastic bottles. It works, but you absolutely,
positively, have to be wearing gloves when you handle the bags.
