Obviously, I know that that period is the Irish iron age - that is my
point. If you read my note carefully, it's clear that I do know when one
age ended and the other began. I am talking about a bronze object, and
I wanted to get some calm confirmation from an expert (not involving
comments like "Good grief, etc.") that I should nevertheless label it as
coming from the Irish iron age.
