Hi to all
Nothing much to do at the moment except reprocess images given the
weather. Here's a redo of NGC 2997 which some people call the "David
Malin" galaxy because virtually no one had ever heard of it until he
imaged it with the AAT. I was never happy with my original version
and I'm not exactly ecstatic over this one but I think it's
better. I think this galaxy needs better conditions than my light
polluted back yard.

The best image I've been able to find on the web is this one:

Of course it's taken with a scope double the aperture of mine from
pristine dark skies in Namibia.
Cheers
