Notes from first organizational meeting (Thanks to Angelo, with revisions by
me)

1) We will need a few events to get us going. We are thinking maybe a
"big" meeting every 3 months, with informal get togethers each of the two
other months, and possibly an annual larger conference.

2) Microsoft is offering its place to meet at Nicosia.

3) ATHK might be offering their premises for Limassol meetings

4) We will probably need some kind of sponsoring for the initial
events

5) Chad should be able to find some speakers from Europe for events
for free (Basic expenses if we bring in outsiders)

6) We estimate that per speaker it should cost about CYP 300 (Flight,
transportation and accommodation)

7) CSS would not mind us working as one of their sub groups

8) CSS might even sponsor some of the events

9) Chad is willing to put the extra effort and provide some seminars
for the group to move forward

10) We said that it might be good to have an introductory session ->
Something like why you should move to .Net (I already have session ready)

11) Maybe a super advanced topic maybe on ado.net for the experienced
users (I have sessions ready for this too as Im doing these in Singapore
.NET conf)

12) As VB is unusually popular here and many are not moving to .NET
quickly, we expect this will be a big target for our user base.

13) It should be that the first year might be a bit difficult to get
people to the group

14) Chad will provide a way to create/update a web site

15) Content will include meeting results. (Maybe events photos, Links,
articles etc)

16) We should have a meeting at Nicosia next week

17) Start of July we should have our first event
