CR-39 polycarbonate plastic for alpha detection.   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #11313 of 31421 |
Hello all.
I have been looking for a supplier of the CR-39 its not plexiglass or lexan. CR-39 is used in plastic optics for the most part as far as i can tell. I have been looking for 1/8" thicknesses about the size of a microscope slide.  like 50-100 . Or a larger sheet that is coated with thin plastic to protect it much like plexiglass is when you buy it. that I can cut into smaller pieces, If you have any luck finding any let me know. I will share.

A web search : CR-39 Sheets will give you hours of reading.
I have enclosed some of the more interisting links for those who are interested.
Best to all.
Tracy
