The California North Coast Coalition's mission is to facilitate greater communication, cooperation and action towards protecting, restoring and nurturing the ecological integrity of the North Coast while encouraging sustainable economies for our local communities.
Discussion may include issues such as: long-term planning for reserves and connecting corridors across the landscape as a whole; restoration of watersheds for water quality and salmon; reforming forest practices on private and public lands; developing better methods of forestry; the California Wild Heritage Campaign - the promotion of new wilderness legislation to protect wild land & rivers on public lands in California; water diversion flows of the Eel River; vineyards in the Southern California North Coast; private land stewardship; examples of nature-based tourism; and the Redwoods to the Sea Case Study.
