This is a non-profit group to inform elected officials, emergency management personnel and the public of the the dangers of: expanding nuclear facilities for building new nuclear weapons, the construction of more nuclear power plants, the reprocessing of "spent" nuclear fuel rods and the transport by rail and over public highways of large quantities of highly radio-active materials beween nuclear facilities in Tennessee and the Carolinas (The Nuclear Heartland).
