The Southeast Convergence for Climate Action (action camp) is coming FAST!
Tuesday August 5 -- Monday August 11 -- come for all or part!  http://www.climateconvergence.org/southeast/index.php

The program schedule will be posted on-line soon -- the list of topics is now on-line at: http://www.climateconvergence.org/southeast/schedule.php
Nuke issue presenters include:  Ann Harris, Jennifer Nordstrom, Jim Riccio, Aja Binette, Kevin Kamps, Glenn Carroll, Paxus Calta, Mary Olson and members of PACE
Climate Crisis presenters include: Daphne Wysham, Nadine Block, Ananda Tan, Eva Hernandez, Orin Langelle and Abigail Singer
Coal issues presenters include: Bill McCabe, Elisa Young, and members of Coal River Mountain Watch and Blue Ridge Earth First!
Many trainings will be offered in working the media, anti-oppression, facilitation and consensus decision-making, how to do podcasts and use straight vegetable oil to run your diesel -- LOTS MORE!

Our trainings will culminate in putting our new (and old) skills to play -- with an ACTION on Monday August 11. Details will develop during the week among those who plan to participate. NOTE: this event is for those who share and support principles that include No Nukes, No Coal, No Kidding! Detailed statement of Convergence Principles is posted on the website.

Food will be simple, mostly vegetarian -- and GREAT -- we have 2 of the Southeast's finest "field chefs" on board!
Accommodations are camping, one of 32 beds in 2 dorm rooms (available on basis of need) and motels in the area.
Cost is sliding scale from $50 -- $100 for the week -- you decide -- and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. OK to pay when you arrive -- we appreciate pre-registration for purposes of food and program planning -- http://www.climateconvergence.org/southeast/register.php

Site is in Louisa County, Virginia -- about 12 miles from the Dominion North Anna nuclear site -- and about 25 miles from Charlottesville. Directions from several directions are posted at: http://www.climateconvergence.org/southeast/directions.php

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD -- we have the capacity for 200 + this year -- HOPE TO SEE / MEET YOU THERE!
