The California Lichen Society (CALS) seeks to promote the appreciation, conservation, and study of the lichens. The interests of the Society include the entire western part of the continent, although the principal focus is on California. Anyone interested in California lichens may join this yahoo group. You may also become a member of CALS by paying membership dues. CALS members receive our Bulletin by mail (2/year).
