oops!
just re-read message and see i have given info regarding changing
shutter speed when you asked about aperture.
To change apeture in manual you use the front control dial unless
there is custom function which may have chenged this which I cannot
recall. in shutter priority the camera chooses the apeture for correct
exposure.
