I should, in all decency have noted during my gripe about Adata and their
"customer no service" facilities: that I had no beef with the original seller:
New Egg.
New Egg sells stuff cheap and doesn't make any bones about its return policy.
I've purchased literally hundreds of things from them down the years: and while
I've not had call to utilise the return service more than twice: I've always
found them to be quite a bit more generous in fact that the letter of that
policy indicates.
I wrote to New Egg and told 'em how ticked off I was about Adata: and asked them
if they had any comment. Literally: that's all I said, no more no less.
Long story short: as a gesture of good will: they are sending me a new 2 Gig
card. The response came by return email, in less than 24 hours.
So, while Adata, will not be a factor in any purchase decision I make in future:
New Egg will definitely be.
