I cannot but refrain from the stupidity
that genetic based corn is bad for human consumption. This utter rot and not
to intelligent for people to think they are immune. I know that corn was
mutated in the 1960’s so every human on earth has eaten vast quantities genetically
engineered corn and they have not died from this highly nutritious supplement.
RS 44 and all corn types have all been reengineered. So get used to idea your food
has been manipulated for more than 40 years and without ill effects despite
idiots like Rifkin.
The planet cannot sustain food supply to 6
billion people if we ate organic foods , which in some cases most organic food is
grown in human feces, so better beware that all this organic stuff is not free
of pathogens , it has rich supplement of up 400 different bacteria’s. Organic
food is fine for your backyard plot of vegetables, but the world would have to
triple the land mass to go organic and this not possible. This type of environmental
nonsense is close to being close to the edge of madness.
It is amazing how backward people are and
live in world in which is far removed from reality. Yes corn seed is madness
for ethanol if we doubled the corn production in the
I do not know where President Bush gets
his numbers but it is poorly done. Ethanol is waste of time from corn and has
uses no doubt, but not as a primary fuel. Hydrogen is madness and stupidity at best.
The atom is the smallest and that would truly cook the earth as they tiny
molecules escaped into the atmosphere every time you filled your car at your
favorite hydrogen fuel supplier that is if you do not ignite the process and
your remains are distributed for miles.. So forget about hydrogen cars we would
certainly die from that prospective as the ultra violet radiation would spell
the end of planet 100% guaranteed.
I think I do know more about this so
called hydrogen economy than most people as I developed fuel cells fro NASA. It
is time to look at the only asset we have oil from coal and this can be clean
and cheap. The
This will stop us exploiting the

This is a big issue the oil industry has

What happened to that seditious liberal
media group that twists the real facts about global warming?
I have studied ice cores that are 8000
years old and this warming is a problem , and yes blame all the timber burned

Corn growing appears to be the issue. This pales into
insignificance to GMO corn. This is the environmental issue.
Further, the most serious health problem
introduced into our food supply is in the last 24 mpnths is GMO/ BT Sweet
corn. This is one of the seed industries best kept secrets.
Let's stop this first, then worry about the increased field
corn acres.
When buying sweet corn, best you start with organic corn to
be assured you are not injesting BT lased sweet corn

This interview happened to be on NPR this morning on my way back from a farm call.
Very interesting analysis on how increased corn prices due to demand for ethanol production may impact conservation in the
Midwest afforded by the USDA NRCS Conservation Reserve Program.
I don't see corn being grown on our HEL CRP ground here in
, but if demand gets high enough someday, perhaps some other crop might be California
