Sub:- How to make a Small-Scale (A/R)Agro-Forestry CDM Proposal- -Need Professional Guidance /Consultant
DEAR SIR /MADAM ,
We are farmer Family and we have planted Teak , Subabool etc. Trees in more than 200 Acres last 10-15 yrs.( 1990).
We would like to know details of how Certified Tradable Carbon Offsets (CTO’s) generated from the plantations can be sold to international investors. As per our information under Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), no Agro-forestry (Afforestration or Reforestration A/R) proposal has been approved /registered so far in India.The Farmers can not understand the complexities / Technical language/terms in project (PCN & PDD) preparation for CDM projects.
Please guide on below points:-
A) How to prepare the requisite Project Report ? Since this involve Highly technical & coplicated procedure/calculations.
B) Are there any Consultants / Agengies / N.G.O.'s to help in preparing the PCN (Project concept note) & PDD (Project Design Document) required as per guidelines of UNFCCC & National C.D.M.Authority .And what are their charges?
C) How much approx.economic benefits will be available to the Agro-Forestry Farmers to support such sustainable development .
