Lately, more of our chemistry faculty/grad students are switching
over to the Linux operating system. Unfortunately, SciFinder &
Beilstein are currently available only in PC or Mac formats. I have
not heard of any plans to develop Linux versions of either client
software, and was wondering if there are enough potential users out
there to justify it.
Do others on this list hear more of their patrons asking for Linux
based SciFinder/Beilstein software? If you wish to respond to me
directly, I can summarize the responses and post to the list.
Thanks,
-Christina Keil
