I don't know how many of you have noticed that Yahoo has removed the mail options of "No Mail". Without even telling owners, I might add.
See the screen shot below for the only setting allowed now.
So, now if you need your mail to stop for any reason, you need to set yourselves to Special Notice. With that setting, the only emails you will get are those that the owner sends as a Special Announcement. You won't receive anything that is sent directly to the group, as in the emails that are shared by members.
