I received this question from someone who has viewed our videos:
Hello!
Thank you very much. I have just finished watching all of your available videos.
They are intriguing and I do appreciate the solution based communication sans
the gloom and doom. However, maneuvering around the gloom leaves some
information lacking. These ideas seem able only to be implemented in a perfect
scenario without wars, nuclear attacks, biological warfare, plagues, etc. and
without the malevolence of the existing power elite hell bent on total
enslavement of mankind.
How do you see all of this playing out and how much time do you think that we
have? I would be interested in helping you.
Our reply:
Thank you for your interest in the Community for Tomorrow project. As you have
rightly concluded, our solution does not create a defense against nuclear or
biological war, plagues, or the hundreds of other ways with which our species
has the capability to destroy itself.
However, it is possible that hyperinflation of the money will cause the
disintegration of our centralized systems before any of these other catastrophes
befall us. Since this is the only scenario that affords us the opportunity to
change course, we are directing our energy toward that end. Bringing production
back to the local community level through the use of next generation
technologies gives us the best chance of surviving the inevitability of what
lies ahead. And it is the only chance we have for maintaining the quality of
life we are accustomed to. To put it more simply, if we have a chance at all,
this is it.
It is impossible to know exactly how the collapse will occur. It may happen
slowly, one industry at a time, each bringing others down with it as it falls.
On the other hand, it could happen very quickly and life as we know it could
literally come to a screeching halt overnight. How long we might have is
another question that is difficult to answer. Our best guess at this point is
that we may have another year, maybe two.
From our website (www.communityfortomorrow.org) you can access the transcripts
for the video segments that are still in production. You may find that some of
what we propose for replacing existing industries and technologies serves to
give you a better idea of where we think we are headed. Also, you may find the
Educational Resources section helpful. It is a collection of mostly free
internet-based resources in support of the history, technologies and other
points made in our video series.
Thank you very much for your offer to help with the project. Please tell us a
little about yourself and any niche you feel that you may be able to fill. Our
biggest need right now is to get our message out to as many people as possible,
especially to those who understand what is necessary to get next generation
technologies off the drawing board and into production. We would welcome your
help with that.
