Adding hostname (%%NODEID) to the JOBNAME if using NODEGRP   Message List
Reply Message #17647 of 20971 |

I have an implementation, where I am using a NODEGRP for a job.

There are around 15 nodes in the NODEGRP.

It is seemingly hard for people in Product Support and QA to decipher the scheduled jobs by just looking at them as to which node they are running it on.

Of course one can do properties on each of the 15 individual jobs scheduled, and decide which one to operate on.

Is it possible to have a job name like “APP_GRP_Job1_Dly_%%NODEID” so that when the job is scheduled, it will appear in the EM GUI like

-          “APP_GRP_Job1_Dly_Node1”

-          “APP_GRP_Job1_Dly_Node2”

-          “APP_GRP_Job1_Dly_Node3”

Etc.

Regards

Aruneesh

Job name does not support Autoedit, But MEMNAME supports Autoedit, Why don't you run a simple job and test this. -Venu From: Control-X@yahoogroups.com...
