This forum was created to exchange information about photomicrography (photography through a microscope) and macrophotography (close-up photography) using Nikon Coolpix digital cameras.

* All Coolpix models will be covered but the emphasis will be put on newer models (995, 4500, 5700, etc.), i.e. how to adapt them to a microscope, settings, etc.
* All types of optical microscopes and macroscopes (biological, stereo, metallurgical,...) and applications (biology, paleo*/fossils, mineralogy, petrology, gemmology,...) will also be covered.
* Share questions, and hopefully answers, tips, news, links, etc. and photos with fellow members.
* Spamming and flaming won't be tolerated. Please no direct commercial ads.
* Check the Links section often. Put or link to your pictures in the Photos section. Describe yourself in the Poll. Describe your setup in the Database.
