Greetings Brain Explorers!
******************
The new brain book is coming along great-- at this point already
nearly 50,000 words, bigger than any other previous title of mine.
Here's another teeny tiny preview, enjoy
6 and ½
Missing Teeth
People like to surround themselves with corners. They like to build
corners, they look to put things in corners, and they like to keep
themselves in corners. Take that sitting appliance you will certainly
be using now or some time today- a chair. See… even your ass likes to
be in a corner and it's quite round. Your rear end, that is.
The strange thing is, is that there is not a single square millimeter
on that twenty or so square feet of skin that covers your body, nor a
square, cubes, rectangle, or trapazoid internal organ hiding
underneath that skin anywhere inside of you.
Your brain, for example, is shaped like a nice curved walnut, and sits
comfortably inside it's double dome walnut shell. It's natural.
Yet, curved human beans are constantly trying to fit themselves and
their mind into a corner or a box.
Why on the round earth is that?
Now, Travelers learn early on that square wheels don't roll. And this
is why most people never learn to Travel.
Their minds are square.
A Traveler knows that to move rapidly, one most take the spiritual
shape of an amoeba. Or for that matter a paramecium. But generally,
the amoeba shape has definite advantages.
Like an octopus that can squeeze through the most narrow tunnel
between two worlds, the amoeba is a better shape for Travel, because
it is no shape.
A hard snail shell gets caught in the pipe way. The slippery octopus
can bend through any curve and slither through the tightest keyhole.
When you have a shape, you have a definition.
When you have a definition, you loose the ability to adapt to a new
environment. And Traveling is moving from one environment to another
different one to another different one.
People are constantly trying to see the You-niverse as black and
white, as restricted defined areas that start here and end there.
This is only handy when you are playing checkers.
Otherwise, this is a huge mistake, and chains you to immobile concrete
blocks of glued down cells.
To quote Loose Tsu, "...when you give up ides of right and wrong, of
this and that, you then see the truth."
Thus, you can go where blockheads are unable to go. You slip through
the bobsled twisty turny wormhole connecting the two You-niverses like
a slippery cosmic octopus.
You go where no common stick corner clunky man is able to go.
(Stay tuned!!)

COMMENTS:
"Dear Neil,
Please could you help me. i have recently bought your 5 books ...i
always find the most progress in these things by being able to
internally visualise exactly what is happening and having the
confidence to do this because i know i am visualising from very
accurate information...visualising is accurate and then am certain
will progress in joyful leaps and bounds!
Well, thanks for everything!
Very best wishes,
Andy
[My reply]
Andy,
Clicking forward is making a connection between your advanced frontal
lobes behind your forehead to the rest of your bulk brain behind.
Like AC electricity, the energy moves back and forth in both
directions-- but most people get the frontal lobes processes kick
started by imagining the energy moving forward like DC current, from
the mid brain where the amygdala is located, up to the frontal lobes.
When we get freaked out- threatened, scared- fight or flight clicks
in- backwards-- and the cortex shuts down to a large extent.
Clicking forward is conscious over riding of exclusive primitive
reactions by the addition of more advanced cortical functions. You
don't just REACT to things-- you react AND THINK INTELLIGENTLY through
things. This way, you have your FULL brain power at your disposal,
instead of just your reactive 10% reptile brain power.
This is something that is not culturally encouraged, but must be
learned and practiced consciously for a while. Then too, frontal lobes
thinking becomes a habit-- and you get automatic brain power that
works far beyond cultural brain failure.
