"CRS" is an informal group of hobbyists, experimenters, and robot builders who meet monthly at the Connectcut Science Center located at 250 Columbus Avenue in Hartford Connecticut. Please visit our website for more information including meeting times and travel directions <http://www.ctrobots.org>. Our membership is a diverse group composed of people with many different backgrounds and experience levels. Our interests include, but are not limited to, electronics, mechanics, fun, and the science related to automation and home built robotics.
The Connecticut Robotics Society seeks to educate and share ideas in the domain of amateur robotics. We strive to increase our knowledge and abilities while meeting new friends and furthering our skills as robot builders. In addition to our monthly meetings we also host a number of annual events and contests where members can show off their creations in a friendly, sometimes competitive atmosphere.
The CRS meets from September through June on the second Sunday of the month at 1PM. Please visit our web site at http://www.ctrobots.org for driving directions. A complete schedule of meetings for the year can be found on the Meetings page. Anyone is encouraged to attend and don't forget to bring your favorite new toy or your latest project!
