and here is a 3000 watt 25 volt motor at 150 amps for $350. this motor plus
$200 battery plus $150 charger might make a 30 minute run time that might reach
38000rpm, unloaded.

Brushless motors are rated in RPM per volt. If you find a 1k Watt motor.

For example this one is like the one Nick uses:

its 2074 RPM per volt. on 12 volts it would near 1k watts at 80 amps.
