Does anyone have any videos with any turbine powered jet skis? I have seen one
vid and I can't find it. The jet ski was out of the water. I am really wanting
to build one. Need as much info as I can. www.wpsturbines.com has some very
limited info. Just a picture that says we can put them in sea doo's. Please help
me. Anxious for this.

I have a newer 1100ZXI Kawasaki jetski with a 3 cylinder OEM 2-stroke motor in
it. I intend to toss one of my Tiernay TT10 turboshafts into it at some point.
The main project will be routing the exhaust and converting the
autostart/constant run control box over to a throttled able control system. The
rpm is 55k and the output at 100% is 12k. I think this will be about nice, but I
may have to put a 2:1 reduction unit in it. You can see what it looks like

The other problem is the output shaft is on the cold end, which if exhaust faces
aft, then shaft direction will require vector reversal.
Or I will have to get fancy with the exhaust and figure out some way to 180* it.
I think the shaft mod would be easier.
OK, what was the question again?
My Tiernay is supposed to be like 85 or 100hp which may not even be as much as
the original motor (which is still good, I think-have never run it.) I will have
to investigate the original motor specs to see what to expect hp-wise and rpm
wise to drive the waterjet.

But imagine firing up a turbine jetski at the dock at the lake...
HEE HEE HEE,,..... Yah, BABY!
Even if it only goes moderately fast, it will be a super magnet.
