Hi Rodney
This is probably not the right Site for this enquiry , but having owned a T62 T32 engine I'll throw in my 2 cents worth ,.......................horrible fuel consumption compared to the IC engine , at 150 shp it will burn 140 lbs per hour according to my manual , that ~20 US GPH ....................you'll need to fit big tanks , ..............even at a 100 shp it'll be burning ~110 lbs/hr
The engine isn't particularly light at 150 lbs "wet" .
Being a single shaft engine it'll produce virtually no power below 80% N1 , and theres a need to "unload" the engine during a spoolup otherwise you'll end up with a hung start , thats why the Allison 250 engine is a two shaft engine , it negates all the "problems" of a single shaft engine . .......................single shaft engines are OK for pumps and generators , and can be used for turboprops, Garrett TPE331 , with the right gear downstream to minimise start loads .
The T62T32 is a generator engine , it'll be a compromise at best .
Heres a couple of Links you might find helpful
I don't like to sound negative about the project , but it wouldn't be my choice of engine .
The T62T32 I had came with a NGV stator that was "undersized" which meant the engine could never have achieved the rated horsepower, so beware of purchasing an engine unless it comes with a guarantee that it has been dyno'd at full rated power .
Cheers
John

my Question is I need expert advise on this, there are many other small helicopters with this conversion and they seem to have a good review, just like some opinions on this.
Thanks Rodney
