I think they are referring to metal files... Such as bastard (mill) files, round files. You will most likely have to make a few parts like mounting brackets...

Consider keeping the gearbox and using it. Members have gone to great lengths to turn the turbine output into shaft output. You've already got that! Fred ......

The great part about this unit is that it has two output shafts. But I remember seeing on the generator builder plate of 7800 rpm, kinda fast for a generator....

Jason - Put a thermocouple (EGT gauge) on the outlet of the combustor and limit it to 1450F (780C). Otherwise you have no idea how the combustor is performing...
