I want to change permissions for dozens of pages on my site and when I
get to the page tree I have to select a node, edit it, hit update
and then end up on the tree again where it does not remember what I
selected so I have to scroll again and figure put where I left off.

In the end if they used Telerik or a tree control that supported
checkboxes I could select a bunch of tree nodes and set all their
permissions in one step -- instead I have to go through a tedious
procsss dozens of times.

And since the Tree is not a true tree I cannot expand or collapse
nodes to simplify working with it.

Can someone puta bug in the core team's ear about this really basic
issue that should never have made it into a shipping product, OS or
non-OS.
