Jake is still looking for a new home.  Doesn't he look cute in his Christmas hat?  I'm only asking $150.00 and he's already gelded.

The Budweiser donkey was owned by SeaWorld of Florida( Orlando)..  SeaWorld was owned by Anheuser-Busch Inc, Busch Entertainment... They sold it to a Belgian beer maker, "InBev" bought Busch Entertainment Corp.'s parent company Anheuser-Busch. They were divested, by Jan. 1, 2009, of the donkey and the Seaworld's Clydesdale horses(copyrites and all the legal stuff)... I gather, they were not the touring AB Clydesdale's, but were owned by the park.... The donkey was sold in Oct.-Nov. of 2008.. The horses by Jan. 1... I'm trying to find out who bought the donkey... Here are some links...

That was the 2006 Super Bowl commercial, but I always enjoy watching it again.  I think that the donkey was not an actor, but one from the Budweiser farm in St. Louis, which would be a descendent of the Busch imports.

That was tough, 68 minutes but I am making Lyonaise potatoes at the same time! They are done to but had to be turned quite often. My new Magic Bullet Express (8 minute Meal) blew a gasket or something so I have to call them and invoke th guarantee.  A couple of years ago the Microwave  blew on Thanksgiving now my new favorite toy. Durn!

When we lived in California cr.1978 there was a shop in  Anaheim or Buena Park or around there that sold wonderful  jewelry findings like five times better than any Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and you could see before you buy but I don't have the visual accuity I had thirty years ago so probably won't be making a lot of jewelry (darn) I am going to get back to sewing, I can always get my grandson ot his wife to thread needles. I taught him how when he was a little kid, he always wanted to help me sew, cook and stuff. He is now a very good cook if you like lots of spices. Unfortunately we didn't live near the jewelry supply place when he was that age.

LOL Well I don't go out to many fancy places.  I've worn 'em to ranch rodeos, labor day and memorial day, different get togethers we've gone to, holidays, Church, Dr's visits, as long as you have an outfit it matches, shoot wear it, lol.  I can remember being at a few very remote ranches where even going grocery shopping warranted getting dolled up just cause we didn't get to go to town much, lol. If you can imagine going, you can wear the stuff. Thanks on the earrings idea too! I'll remember that. Great one!

Someday when I have lots of money I will show your website to granddaughters. They will love them. Think about more earrings s tand alones for the younger girls, they usually wear earrings but not always necklaces. Judy

The making of memorial bronze statue of the famous Ausie-New Zealand racehorse, Phar Lap... He raced in the early thirties, and mysteriously died over here after winning a prep race... Many say that he was poisoned by mobsters?? How he died is still a mystery... Excellent article, if you are into art, making statues, or interested the beautiful work the artist created... I found it a great article...

Whatever your feelings about the war—and please let’s not have any of that discussion here—this is a wonderful way to tell the men and women overseas how you feel about our support of them. It’s easy to do, with several choices for messages.

And if you don’t feel that way, then don’t.

This is real.

Please send

 XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com   you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in  Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!    It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?    Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you.    Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do.  We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

The National Zoo also does animalcams and hjad one for a baby panda at one time, haven't checked recently.

"poo paint discourages wood chewing.

This is grandpa's recipe:
Shovel manure to fill half of a 50 gallon drum, add 1 pint of kerosene
(repells wood-eating bugs, wasps and birds), fill drum with water. Let set
in the shade for a week to 10 days to allow kerosene to dissipate, stir
daily with a paddle until a smooth consistency is achieved. Paint on with
broom and allow to soak in thoroughly and allow to dry completely, reapply a
second coat. 50 gallons covers about 2,500 sq ft for one coat.

Sabine, Do you have Vicky's Dad's recipe for preventing wood cribbing? I
can't find it. I know it was donkey poop and crankcase oil and something?
Maybe Pat...or the woman up in...Utah or Idaho has it?
