Associate Editor, Oxford Dictionaries, OUP-USA

Oxford University Press is seeking an intelligent, organized, and
literate Associate Editor to join our highly profitable worldwide
dictionary publishing unit working on Oxford's US dictionary list. The
successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter who is quick to
learn and good with figures, has great communication skills, and is able
to work fast and with initiative. Responsibilities include: coordinating
publishing activity for new editions and titles both online and print,
monitoring sales and market activity and tracking schedules and costs,
writing accurate and persuasive copy, and liaising with colleagues in
Production, Marketing, Rights, and Sales departments on all aspects of
the dictionary publishing process. A good university degree is required,
preferably in languages or a related subject, together with at least one
year's publishing experience. Experience of reference publishing is ideal.
