Hello,
Is anybody out there.
Those nice people at yahoogroups sent me an email that they may close down
this list as it has not had any postings for a while. So please post
something to keep it going :o)
I recently used DU to print out star maps for the southern hemisphere as I
went to an observatory in South Africa and then on to Zambia for the total
eclipse.
I am still scanning my eclipse photos and they will be on my web pages at
http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/eaves/eclipse2001 which at the moment only
has a front page. Expect some more pages and images soon !
Some of the wide deep sky shots I took in South Africa can be seen at
http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/eaves/southernskies
I will be adding more photographs shortly. DU is coming in useful for
identifying all the objects on the photographs. A pity that Dan has not
implemented the rendered DSOs in the Amiga version as that would make
identification much more easy than the current method of just displaying
circles. Come on Dan, most of us do have graphics cards nowadays you know !
Regards,
Bill.
