You have to have a lot of light to get good pictures. It's that simple.

Hello,
I joined this group to find a way to make the best of a digital
camcorder I received as a gift. It is a DXG 305v.
I love the features it comes with the camera, but I was a bit
disappointed in the low light quality indoors is atrocious. I have a
Sony Handicam mini DV (family owned) that I still plan to use for big
projects. However, I think there is potential to use the DXG for
little videos and Youtube fare. I was wondering if anyone could give
me some pointers on what settings would be best to utilize my cam for
both indoors and outdoors.
