There are so many things attached to this date. Seems almost all of
them are bad too.
Where to begin? September 11, 2001 is a memory that many of us will
never forget. Try as we might, it is etched in time and in our minds as
one of the darkest, scariest times we could ever have imagined. The
events of that day showed us both extremes of the human experience.
There was the dark side as we had never thought possible, but there was
also the bright side as so many rushed to help those in need. Many
heroes and legends were also born this day and for that, we should
remember what they did.
September 11, 2003 was another very sad day for the world as it was the
day John Ritter passed away. John was such a personality and he gave
his all to make people laugh and feel good for the time he was on the
screen or in the room. He is still very sorely missed, but thanks to re-
runs, he hasn't completely left us.
Yes, today is a day of sadness, reflection, and remembrance. May these
events be learned from and never repeated!
