This question would be more appropriate on the SatSignal Yahoo group, as
this group is more for my non-weather-satellite software, and was manned
during my absence.

The MSG Animator should certainly work with the FTP software as that's
exactly the combination I use when "on-the-road". There are a couple of
points:
- in the MSG Animator, select an LRIT channel (e.g. "LRIT Channel 9 -
10.8um"
- in the MSG Data Manager, you can get a smoother animation if, on the
Setup, Channel selection, MSG-LRIT screen, you check the LRIT Animations
box.
