- Set ShowMan to refresh every 1 minute

- Start ShowMan on some directory \A\B\C\, which contains a small
number of subdirectories and files

- Click on one subdirectory D, so that ShowMan displays the contents
of \A\B\C\D\; this directory contains a large number of
subdirectories and files

(I'm not sure that the numbers of entries in the list box for
\A\B\C\ and \A\B\C\D\ matters. In the case I'm observing, \A\B\C\
shows a few entries in the list box and \A\B\C\D\ shows many, but
that might turn out to be irrelevant.)

- Click the slider that accompanies the file-and-folder list, and
hold it down until the every-minute-refresh timer goes off

- When the refresh timer fires, and ShowMan tries to display the
contents of \A\B\C\ while the mouse is held down, an access
violation message box appears: "Access violation at address
0086030E. Read of address 0086030E." (The address is different
every time.)

This error occurs every time I try to do this.
