I realize that this is a continuation of a very old thread -- last
seen Dec 1st, 2004, in fact -- but I bought myself a new computer
this week, and I'm seeing this problem routinely and regularly on
the new one once again.

As I reported at the time, I had this problem on a desktop I owned
back then, but not on the laptop I owned at the same time. Well,
since then that desktop died a tragic death, and for a long time --
until this week -- all I used was that laptop, so I didn't encounter
this problem and in fact pretty much forgot about it. But now it's
back.

I'm not actually urgently pleading for you to do something about
this right away, but I did want to at least mention that it's
happening to me again. (Better to say something, just for the
record, than to suffer in silence, I suppose.) I'm happy to do
whatever I can to help resolve the issue, but if you decide that
it's a low priority (if I'm the only person on the planet who is
seeing it, for example), I won't argue ... too much.
