This computer has one of those nifty Intel Core 2 Duo processors. I
have never seen a computer that's this fast in my life. Using
SlideShow on previous computers, I could see the resampling taking
place, because an image would get drawn once, and then a second
later, the resampling would take place over the first rendering of
the image. On this computer, you can't see that at all.

The problem behaves identically at 800x600, 1024x768, and
1280x1024. Let me know if there are any other resolutions you'd like
me to test.
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE video driver version is 9.1.3.2, dated 20 June
2006, and Windows XP's Hardware Update Wizard reports that it "could
not find a better match for your hardware than the software you
currently have installed." Is there anything else related to video
drivers that you would like me to check?
Like I say, this is probably a problem without a solution, and I'm
happy to let it go.
