DeepSkyStacker's Support Group
This group is your place to ask questions, make feature suggestions, share experience and of course post nice results.
I will do my best to answer all the questions in French or in English.
By the way membership is opened to all but is moderated to avoid spammers (*).

(*) Because of spammer bots you must mention DSS, astrophotography or something that is definitely making you a human being in your presentation.
Generic phrases like 'A friend told me about your group' or meaningless phrases like 'abc' will not lead to an approved membership.

well, the instance in which the CLS-CCD filter is necessary is pretty narrow. if you entirely remove the IR cut filter from your camera, you need to use some

So your suggestion then is to get the ccd edition filter, and that way if I ever do mod my camera I have a filter that works with it? wow too bad the ccd

Rob, Just looked up both on the OPT website. The non-ccd version seems to have 92% transmission of h-beta, o-III, and 97% of h-alpha. The ccd version
