links that don't count ?

I am starting an advertising and SEO campaign but I find that some
of the links to me do not get registered in any of the search
engines.
For instance, while these pages each has a google rank of 5 and are
on a quality site, they still do not show up in any listing of links
after 60 days. Is there something odd about them?

Obviously, my anchor text was not totally thought thru but I'm
refining that part of my strategy.
