Yes. These each use JavaScript to actually create the link at the
client. They are not simply sent back to the client "as a link." For
search engines that do not parse script (like Google) they may as
well not even exist.
The actual file that is linked to in the source to create your ad
is:
http://www.carolhurst.com/cgi-bin/rebotis/ads.pl?jscript;zone=E
This ad will simply never provide you with an increased PageRank,
because it's never "seen" by Google.
