Is there a possibility of a Mac OS X version of Compendium, then? The
version I have requires too much memory or too much something to run
under Virtual PC on my Mac. MySQL is available for Mac's, though, as is
Java, and OS X runs in a Unix environment.

FWIW: there is a lightweight database http://jdbm.sourceforge.net/ that might make Compendium universal without need for a heavy rdbms like MySQL. Cheers Jack...
