Compendium and granular links via PurpleSlurple (was: Using instant messaging for "multi-user" Compendium)

A bit off topic, but I thought this was somehow related:

I've been meaning to chime in here. Recently I've been using Compendium
in conjunction with PurpleSlurple (http://www.purpleslurple.net/). I use
PurpleSlurple to add granular links to web pages on the fly, then drag
the granular links into Compendium. A great way to get right back to the
source.

I typically tile the two application windows vertically to facilitate
this process.

Note: I've seem some differences among browsers and the handling of the
links by Compendium when I drag and drop. Apparantly IE and Mozilla each
interpret the click and dragging of a link a bit differently. Mozilla
passes the link and the link text, IE the link only. So IE currently
seems to work best for this purpose.
