I have the same reaction that Al did. I am heartland USA, but I don't blink at "Dialogue." In fact, for me, it shifts the connotation from the "Peppy [memorized] dialog of a sitcom" to the deeper communication described in Fifth Discipline by Peter Senge, "In dialogue there is real learning." (I don't actually remember how Senge spelled it; I am just explaining my connotations for the two spellings."
