Hello!  We have just made the decision to open up the first workshop of the Certification Program to the wider dialogue mapping community.  This Advanced Workshop, which is set for September 12-14, will be held in the Washington, DC area.  Precise location and price are still being worked out.

This is a new workshop designed for people who have an intention to advance their practical skills in facilitating through a shared display, listening in IBIS, map management, and adding value to difficult discussions.  We will explore a wide range of topics, including catching hidden questions, beyond Question types to the "metamap", important Compendium features and techniques, the process of selling and explaining dialogue mapping, and dealing with difficult and uncomfortable situations in a meeting.

The workshop will be heavily interactive and practice oriented, creating a laboratory for each student to expand their own interaction style and explore new ways to connect the group to the graph.  We are opening up a limited number of seats in the workshop, in addition to the Certification Program participants, for those who have taken the 2-day Dialogue Mapping Workshop, are familiar with Compendium, and want to take their dialogue mapping skills to a whole new level.
