I have gotten involved in the work of the
U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict
Resolution in Tucson, Arizona and, thanks to Carie Fox (Fox
Mediation) and Philip Murphy (InfoHarvest Inc.) the
Institute is very interested in the possibilities of adapting Compendium
and Dialogue Mapping to a what they call "Comment Mapping" --
organizing and analyzing the thousands of letters that are submitted when
a federal agency like the US Forest Service asks for public input on a
controversial issue. The Institute is sponsoring a conference
in May (see below) and Carie and Philip are looking for people who might
be interested in coming to the workshop with them and demonstrating Compendium and
Dialogue Mapping (I won't be able to go). If you are interested in
learning more please contact me or Carie (cf (at)
foxmediation.com).
Thank you!
