Feeding problems R1800 Hannemuhle photo rag   Message List

Can anyone please advise me as to a foolproof way of feeding this
thick paper into the R1800 successfully.

Time after time, the paper seems to shoot through, or isn't picked up
by the feed mechanism.

The feed slot at the back of the printer isn't really access able
because a CISS is attached to the printer.

Many thanks. Paul

If it's like 2200 and R800 the problem is coating from paper that builds up on printer rollers. HPR is reportedly especially prone to this... The fix is...

OK, thanks for your suggestion I'll try it, but the 1800 has never run Photo Rag before, and I suspect that it is more to do with the stiffness and weight of...

Paul, I don't know if UK Staples have the cleaning kit, but if the 1800 is like the R2400 you don't need it. The r2400 has a clearly visible rubber feed roller...
