If it's like 2200 and R800 the problem is coating from paper that
builds up on printer rollers. HPR is reportedly especially prone to
this...

The fix is "inkjet printer cleaning kit" from Staples or other office
supply store. Open an envelope, run the damp paper thru the machine
twice before it evaporates (probably ammonia).

With R800 (dwarf cousin of R1800) force feeding was EXTREMELY frustrating but did occasionally work... cleaning with inkjet cleaning kit was instantly...
