Very true, Liz! This is why I began my comments dependent on whether
anyone desires to connect with a stock agency or not. I would think
Photoshop Elements would provide the same level of quality as the full
version but maybe not. Any person only interested in photography as a
hobby would easily be completely happy with PSE. I started out with PSE
and used it for a long time and was quite happy. I didn't get my first
full version of Photoshop until version 7. I also tried PSP but never
became comfortable with that program. There's also Gimp but that one
seemed more difficult to learn than PS as well. Another program I have
that's older that I do really like is Ulead, however I do not know if
that software is still available. It can create some pretty neat
lightening and looks fairly realistic.
