It's sort of hard for us to answer without knowing what camera you
have. Your manual should have the answer, and it's usually pretty
easy. If you don't have the manual, you can probably find a copy
online at your camera manufacturer's web site.
But the following will probably work:
1. With your camera turned off, plug the download cable into it, and
plug the other end into your computer.
2. Turn your camera on.
3. Start Windows Explorer. Your camera will probably be listed in
Explorer as a removable disk drive. Copy the files from the camera
into wherever you want them.
